Vocational Options
Some of our students have a more vocational route at KS4 that is better suited to their strengths and aspirations.
We work with a range of providers Blackpool and Fylde College, 4 Tech Moto, Horsepower and Blackpool Skills Academy to be able to provide the best fit for our learners.
When our students attend vocational courses as well as visits to the off-site provision, we also timetable sessions back on site with us at McKee College. This ensures we keep that relationship with our students and can assess progress and wellbeing as well as supporting core subject development.
Blackpool Skills Academy
Blackpool Skills Academy lets KS4 young people explore the 'trades' and move between activities as their enthusiasm and concentration allows:

4Tech
4Tech specialise in delivering vocational training and academic tuition to young people. They offer accredited courses in motorcycle and motor vehicle engineering, construction, cycle maintenance, ranging from entry level to recognised industry status.
